New Jersey—December, 2019
I am sitting here at my brother’s dining room
table. I can just see the lit tree, in
shades of red and white, through the archway to the living room. The two of us and his long time partner, now
husband, had a very low key Christmas Day.
I am not expecting to have any play for the short
time I’m here. My sex celebration will
be New Years. I am headed to Toronto on
my return from Jersey and will attend the final Fukdto of the year—and then see
what trouble I can get into for the next couple of days in Canada.
